By choosing to add Trees4Travel to your booking, you can directly support community driven reforestation and renewable energy projects around the world. Through your tour operator’s collaboration with Trees4Travel, this optional add-on allows you to cover the estimated emissions from your trip or simply to plant a few trees. Your contribution helps restore ecosystems, biodiversity and uplift local communities. These initiatives support meaningful environmental action, although they do not eliminate the impact of travel entirely.
The Hybrid Climate Contribution
Trees are one of the most powerful absorbers of carbon emissions, which is why
reforestation plays a vital role in helping to reduce the impacts of climate change, but trees can be fragile and take time to grow. Trees4Travels tree planting initiatives supports long term ecosystem restoration, but it does not immediately or directly compensate for the emissions of your trip. This is why each tree you plant is a climate contribution which is paired with a United Nations certified carbon credit offset from a renewable energy project. This means the emissions reduction element of your contribution is verified using recognised international standards.
