Frequently asked questions

MTB Skills Clinics FAQ

Does Ride Guide provide bikes to skills clinics?

No. You must provide your own bike as we do not provide bikes for you to use at our clinics. We do have connections to bike rental shops so make sure to reach out to us so we can help you get set up on the right bike for the clinic.

Are there age restrictions for skills clinics and private sessions?

Yes. This curriculum is specifically designed for adult learners. For our 1-Day class, we recommend riders under age 15 attend with a parent or adult (minimum age 11). For our 2-day class, we recommend riders age 15-17 to attend with a parent or adult (minimum age 15). A minimum of two years of riding experience is recommended to join us for our 2-day class.

What happens if the event I purchased tickets for gets canceled?

If we must cancel an event due to weather or unforseen circumstances, we will do either of the following:

  1. Reschedule your event to another day and location at your convenience
  2. Will give you a full refund if there is no intent to reschedule

Can the schedule change?

Class schedule and skills covered may vary according to location and terrain. We do our best to remain on-time with our schedule given but please consider and allow an hour after the clinic in case we go over time on the trail or mingle after class.
