Martyn Trebert. A pioneer of recyclable products. In 1991 he developed the concept of recycling printer ribbons and laser toner cartridges. Ribbon Revival became a franchised concept with 38 operators in the UK and 12 overseas. A member of Men of the Trees, he has personally planted 300 trees on his own land.
Sophie Arlott Worked as a TV researcher and producer for a wildlife film company. A member of the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. She has initiated an ongoing sustainable bio diverse ecosystem project in the Scottish Highlands. She has strong ‘green’ beliefs in taking an active role to help create a better future.
Andy McCutheon is our authority on all issues environmental, he’s also Principal Arboricultural Officer of Guernsey (which sounds important). His role has involved the co-ordination of Guernsey’s tree supply and planting schemes to help replace trees that became infected with Dutch Elm Disease.
Robert Arlott is our man on the inside. Having been a commercial airline pilot for many years, he’s well aware of the pollution caused by aircraft and is now helping to make a change.
